WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE A MASTER GARDENER??!!
Classes are January 28-April 29 2025
This program trains and certifies volunteers to provide community service through the local Extension office. Master Gardeners are trained, certified volunteers for the University of Tennessee Extension County Office. They help UT Extension share the latest and greatest gardening information! All volunteers are trained with 40 hours of horticultural classes and return 40 hours of volunteer community service their first year (25 hours community service and eight hours CEU's every year thereafter) through the Extension Office.
As a Master Gardener, you increase the availability of horticultural information to individuals in YOUR community, assisting them to improve their quality of life with community and garden programs...
