White Oak Sink
The most magical and enchanted location in the Smoky’s exists in White Oak Sink! This place is not even recognized by the park as a trail, so you are in for a special treat! The sink is home to a large population of blue phlox and shooting stars, as well as lady slippers! This is a moderately difficult four mile round trip trail.
Special wildflowers seen along this trail include: bellwort, Bishop’s cap, rue-anemone, showy orchids, solomon’s seal, spring beauties, star chickweed, dwarf-crested iris, and squawroot.
